Workshop - Herbal Teas: New Ways to use Herbs the Old Ways
Kay is a third generation herbalist. She is the owner and operator of Truely Unique in Wilson NC where she has two hundred of herbs at her disposal. She not only sells herbs at her store but she also works with them in her everyday life from cooking to making different types of teas for all types uses.
Kay started working with herbs at a very young age and continues her education by carefully studying herbs and there properties. She traveled to Puerto Rico to learn about different herbs used in the Caribbean Islands and has adopted some of these herbs in her everyday cooking. Learning is a never ending experience for Kay.
