Hi everyone!I'm the guy who built the web infrastructure and many of the web pages on this site. Everyone else is doing all the real work.
Anyway, on to the bio... I am both deeply spiritual and terribly irreverent. The two things that annoy me most are intolerance and taking oneself too seriously. Therefore, I seem to spend a lot of time annoying myself.
I have been an amateur pagan for about 20 years and am thinking seriously about going pro. However, I have been building software even longer and, since it pays better, my professional pagan career will probably have to wait.
I was born in South Carolina, raised here in North Carolina, and recently spent about 10 years working my way up the east coast, finally settling in Maine where I fell in love and got married. Once I had spent about 5 winters in Maine, I realized how much I liked it down here. We moved back a few years ago and will probably stay here in North Carolina for a long while.
I, for one, am hoping this year's festival will be better than last year. Though it seems to have gotten off to a slow start again, lots of new people have jumped in and I think they have really made a difference. So, with the promise of better food, actual live entertainment and a boatload of other new activities, I am really looking forward to the 2006 festival. See you there!
